The newsletter is free
Subscribing to The Week, Brewed costs nothing and obliges you to nothing. You get one email on Sunday morning; you can leave in one click, any Sunday. If a paid product ever appears (the coffee store, for one), it will have its own clearly-stated terms before you can buy anything.
How our content works
Each issue is a curated digest. We choose the week's stories and arrange them; the story summaries themselves quote or closely restate what the publishers wrote in their own feeds, with attribution and a link to the original every time. That means a line you read here may match a source's phrasing word-for-word — the credit tells you whose words they are, and the link is where the full story lives. We never reproduce full articles: the underlying journalism belongs to the outlets that did it. The selection and arrangement of a compiled issue are ours — please don't reproduce or redistribute whole issues without permission. Quoting a passage with a link back is always fine.
The fine print, briefly
The newsletter is provided as-is. We work hard to get the week right — drafted by AI, edited by a human, corrected in the next issue when we miss — but it is a news digest, not professional advice, and we can't accept liability for decisions made on the strength of a Sunday read. Nothing here limits rights that the law says can't be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia (placeholder — to be confirmed by counsel before this draft is finalized). If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands.
Changes and questions
